To develop
working models for cross-sector collaborations, a consortium of P2P Network
members will run Creative Labs from 2003.
Proboscis
is planning to develop two different kinds of Labs: single day events
and two days events. Each Lab will focus on a specific theme. Two day
events will include a public forum component to present outcomes to a
wider group.
2 Day Lab
Model:
Day
1 is a closed workshop for up to 20 invited participants from the
arts, industry and academia. Intensive brainstorming sessions aim to
devise new approaches in collaborative practices to themes of innovation
and creative development. Outcomes of the sessions could include micro-projects
or project concepts around the Lab's theme, or a map of relevant issues.
Day
2 has two parts: a bodystorming session to act out ideas and concepts
developed the previous day, followed by an open public forum. The forum
is an opportunity present the outcomes of the first day and widen the
process of debate and exploration by inviting peers and the public to
take part.
Documentation
from each Lab will be posted on the P2P website.
